Monthly Member Meetings

Our member meetings take place every other Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year. These gatherings offer a chance to socialize, followed by a brief business meeting and then an engaging activity such as an artist demonstration, educational program, painting session, or an excursion. Exhibitions

Each year, the Society holds an all-member exhibition judged by a distinguished watercolor artist. The top three winners receive cash prizes, with additional honorable mentions awarded.

Workshops

We host at least one workshop annually, both in-person and via video conferencing. Enrollment is open to all, with discounted fees for members.

Showcasing Your Artwork

Members have the opportunity to showcase their artwork on the Society’s website and social media channels. The top three winners from the annual exhibition will also have their artwork featured in a year-long slideshow on our website, with links to their personal websites or social media profiles.

Communications and Resources

Stay connected! Members receive regular updates about upcoming events, exhibitions, and activities. You'll also enjoy unlimited access to member-exclusive resources, including a video library of art demonstrations by renowned watercolorists.

Giving Back

The Society proudly awards a merit-based scholarship to a graduating high school student pursuing a degree in art education.

Membership Annual Dues: $50

Dues for first-time and renewing members are the same.   There are two ways to pay your dues:

 

1)  By credit card after completing the online form below.

 

2)  By check.  Complete a Member Sign-up Form and send it with your check.  Make check or money order payable to the “Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society” and mail to Starr Shebesta, GCWS Treasurer, at 6249 Stewart Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45227.
