GCWS Annual Show Opening

Our member meeting, art dropoff, art hanging, and setup for the Annual Show was held Thursday, August 7 st at The Barn Cultural Arts Center.  Plans were discussed for the upcoming opening reception and ambassador duties during the show. 

The opening for the show was held Sunday, August 10.  Adele DiMinno, co-leader of the Annual Show, gave a meaningful tribute to Jim Warner, our past-president, and noted that the second place award this year is given in his memory. The show Judge was Paul Kroner, Visual Artist and gallerist at Studio Kroner on Court Street in downtown Cincinnati.  As he presented the awards, he commented on each award winner, noting the qualities that earned the award.
