Cincinnati Art Museum Docent Tour of Watercolor Collection
The Cincinnati Art Museum houses a massive, nationally renowned collection of American and European works on paper, featuring notable watercolors by artists like John Singer Sargent and Elizabeth Nourse. However, because watercolors are highly sensitive to light and fade quickly, they are rotated regularly rather than kept on permanent display.
GCWS members and friends were treated to a wonderful in-depth docent tour of these rarelyl ween watercolors, and related paintings. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch at the museum's Terrace Cafe!
