Scanner training!

GCWS President Sue Kinsella opened the meeting, and summarized upcoming events including the Chris Leeper Workshop in May, and our Plein Air outing at Native Roots in June.

Several members have been honored in exhibitions and publications.  Gary Brooks, Kathleen Kuhn, and Keith Shebesta have been juried into the Evendale FIne Art Exhibit at Evendale Recreation Center May 1–4, 2026.  Larissa Cullen, Adele DiMinno, and Marcia Hartsock were accepted into the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati Annual Juried Show, April 4-May 5.  Andrea Walker is featured in a six page article in The Art of Watercolour Magazine, Issue 61.  Congratulation to all of the honorees!

ArtsConnect's tech expert, Aharon Cagle, gave a very thorough demonstration of how to use the large scanner that has been generously donated to ArtsConnect by our member Kathleen Kuhn.  Members who were not present can contact Arahon for an appointment for training on the scanner. A reminder, if you want to use the scanner to scan your own artwork, you must supply your own USB flash drive to store the image file.

After the scanner training, members shared their watercolor projects, finished or in progress, and received constructive feedback!
